Chocolate-covered peanut butter eggs for Easter

Easter is upon us . . . and so is the presence of various traditional Springtime treats.  One of which, the peanut butter egg, is my personal favorite.  I decided to create my own made-from-scratch version of that tasty delight.  First, I made the oh-so-yummy peanut butter filling, including peanuts, peanut butter, crushed graham crackers, and a few other delectable ingredients.  Even before being enrobed in chocolate, this peanut butter filling is melt-in-your-mouth wonderful.  I rolled and formed each little egg by hand, then dipped them in either milk or white chocolate.  Chocolate-covered peanut butter eggs for Easter.  It's going to be a delicious day!

Citrus Bars

These delicious Citrus Bars are a personal favorite of mine (being that I love nearly all things citrus - from scents to flavors).  The buttery, flaky crust is topped with the tastiest of citrus custard.  Both fresh-squeezed orange, lemon, and lime juice (as well as the zest from each) is included.  Not too sour, nor too sweet . . . this bar is the perfect blend of citrus flavors.  A generous sprinkling of confectioner's sugar finishes each rectangular delight.

Neapolitan Cupcake Tree

These Neapolitan cupcakes are an indecisive person's dream.  A layer of vanilla cake on the bottom . . . a layer of chocolate cake in the middle . . . and a swirl of sweet strawberry icing on top.  Three flavors in one tasty cupcake!  Dessert deliciousness!

Caramel Turtle Bars

When one thinks of eating a delicious dessert, selecting a turtle of any kind upon which to snack is not usually recommended.  However, if the turtle in question happens to be one of Sweet T's delicious Caramel Turtle Bars, please snack . . . devour . . . and enjoy!  A buttery shortbread crust provides the foundation for this decadent bar.  Freshly-made caramel, toasted pecans, and a generous drizzle of chocolate top each bar.  This turtle is "out of its shell" and ready to be enjoyed for dessert!

Rocky Road Brownies

Thick, rich, and moist chocolate brownies are a mouth-watering treat all alone on a plate. However, a tasty brownie topped with a layer of melted marshmallow and toasted almonds makes that treat extraordinary.  Add a few of these scrumptious rocky road brownies to that lone treat on the plate and the day becomes nearly perfect.  Bring on the rocky road!

Praline Caramel Brownies

A thick, rich, moist chocolate brownie foundation.  A generous layer of creamy caramel icing.  A sprinkling of toasted pecans.  The most delicious brownie dessert ever!  Praline caramel brownies.  Ahhhhh . . . sighhhhhh.   I'm in heaven!

Lemon Meringue Pie Cupcakes

What is better than lemon meringue pie?  What is better than a  lemon cupcake?  A lemon meringue pie cupcake, of course!  These tasty lemon cupcakes are topped with a miniature lemon meringue pie (of sorts).  100% made-from-scratch, these lemon-y morsels are a delight for the taste buds.  Flaky pie crust cut with a cookie cutter is placed on each lemon cupcake.  Atop the pie crust sits delicious lemon custard pie filling (made with just enough fresh-squeezed lemon juice and zest).  Then, a dollop of sweet, toasted meringue tops each treat.  Lemon perfection!

Boy, oh boy! Brownies!

I have deemed 2011 as the year of the bar and brownie for Sweet T.  I will still be making and selling delicious cupcakes, and testing new cuppie recipes (I already have one in the works for this weekend).  However, I will be focusing on expanding my offerings to tasty bars and brownies throughout this year.  These "plain" ol' yummy brownies are far from plain tasting.  The thick, rich chocolate bar is slightly denser than a cake and tastes divine.  The butter and cream cheese-based chocolate icing is the perfect top for this perfect brownie bar.

Coconut Craving?

Coconut is one of my absolute favorite flavors ON THE PLANET!  So, occasionally (and often much more than occasionally) I get a hankerin' for a coconut cake goodie.  This little cuppie will satisfy any coconut craving (for at least 5 minutes until you MUST have another!).  The super moist, sweet cake is baked with both coconut shreds and coconut milk.  The addictive coconut cream cheese icing is topped with  a sprinkling of a bit more coconut.  This little beauty is coconut perfection!

Eclectic Birthday Cupcakes With Personality!

This eclectic mix of cupcakes are for an 11 year old girl's birthday.  Each delicious red velvet cuppie is topped with tangy cream cheese icing and a made-by-hand fondant representation of something she enjoys or likes.  Besides the year she was born, her age, a Happy Birthday message, and her name, the other cupcakes are topped with an edible Phineas and Ferb, a can of hairspray and a blowdryer, nail polish, Fairly Odd Parents characters, school paraphernalia, her favorite colors (pink and puple), and an electric guitar.  One can certainly learn a lot about a person by making them individualized cupcakes!
