This eclectic mix of cupcakes are for an 11 year old girl's birthday. Each delicious red velvet cuppie is topped with tangy cream cheese icing and a made-by-hand fondant representation of something she enjoys or likes. Besides the year she was born, her age, a Happy Birthday message, and her name, the other cupcakes are topped with an edible Phineas and Ferb, a can of hairspray and a blowdryer, nail polish, Fairly Odd Parents characters, school paraphernalia, her favorite colors (pink and puple), and an electric guitar. One can certainly learn a lot about a person by making them individualized cupcakes!

Rainbow Dots and Corset Laces
This square-shaped cake was created for a teenage girl's birthday. She adores rainbow colors and corsets. The instructions I was given when creating this cake were to evoke a corset's laces and to have muted rainbow dots and/or balls on the top. Voila! Cream-colored fondant, laces, and rainbow dots AND balls to cover a luscious red velvet cake filled and topped with cream cheese icing. Almost too beautiful to eat . . . almost.

Gone Fishin'
These birthday cupcakes were created for a man who enjoys fishing and whose birthday is right before Christmas (hence, the Christmas tree cupcakes). Each tasty carrot cupcake is topped with tangy cream cheese icing and a made-by-hand fondant detail. Whether the fondant detail is a special message, a Christmas tree, a fish hook and worm, a fish, or a little fishing pole, all are 100% edible and delicious. Happy Birthday!

Christmas Leftovers
These delicious Gingerbread Cupcakes were created, baked, and devoured several weeks before the Christmas Holiday. However, I did not post them on my blog until now. Thus, they are deemed "Christmas leftovers." Each soft, moist Gingerbread cupcake is filled with tasty cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger . . . as well a just a hint of sticky and sweet maple syrup. Each yummy cake is swirled with a heavenly amount of cream cheese icing, topped with Holiday sprinkles, and swathed in a cheery Christmas wrapper. Yum!
